Dear Alapaha Community:

In light of of all the things that have surfaced recently (Karen, the crank tails, the docked tails, the lack of communication, etc...) I am resigning from my position as VP of the ABBA. It was only a token position to begin with. Nothing has been resolved except for the fact that the papers have been arriving in a timely manner. The COE was supposedly revised and voted, but I still haven’t seen the original.

I cannot agree with all the vicious remarks from certain ABBA members, the inconsistent standards (standard states a dog with a docked tail is disqualified from the show ring, nothing more, not refused full registration, and I have had to place one of the nicest dogs I have produced because I was adhering to the current COE and again, I never did get to see anywhere in writing in the bylaws or standard that breeding these dogs was a no-no). That one really bothers me, and the cliques, and evidently the do-as-I-say, not-as-I-do attitudes. ACA has reiterated on numerous occasions that Mr. Coleman has refused to answer their letter regarding the questionable breeding and the turmoil that brews from that one issue that could be resolved simply by a written letter, yet ......... enough is enough.

I have to live with myconscience and for the longest time it has been telling me to step down. I'm not one of the sheep.
