Training is a life long process. A well-trained, obedient dog is a happy dog and a joy to live with. He or she is secure in his/her place within his/her family and knows what is expected of him/her. Formal obedience training shouldn't start until your pup is at least 6 months old. Until that time they have the attention span of a 3 year old child. Training session should be short (5-10 minutes) and frequent. Always end on a positive note!
